The 2010-2011 Hot Stove season is looking to be an interesting one. Teams are going to be hard-pressed to make a decision between chasing the few free agents on this year's market or saving their dollars for the big pool after next season. With names like Albert Pujols, Prince Fielder, Adrian Gonzales, and Ryan Howard, there is going to be a lot of money flying around a year from now. However, for those teams with immediate needs, this year's free agent class will have a few interesting names that will make some teams think twice before saving.

I am a huge sports fan, and one of the things I love the most about sports is the traditions associated with the different professional and amateur leagues and teams. Some of these traditions are well known and widely popular, such as the playing of the National Anthem before a contest and others may be more associated with a region which we all learned this past summer during the Soccer World Cup when the vuvuzela was introduced to the rest of the world.

Hall of Famer Ryne Sandberg is not expected to end up on the Chicago Cubs' coaching staff next season. A person familiar with the situation said Sandberg could continue to manage the Cubs' Triple-A Iowa affiliate if he wants.
